Bon Dia, Good Day!

We had a great 2nd week of school!!! The students are getting into the routine of things! Looking forward to another one this week!!![

*Each week a Homework packet will go home on Monday to be returned on Friday. This week they will have a reading log to keep track of their reading at home. Students need to be recording their reading onto their reading logs. This week in the homework packet is a writing assignment. We have been talking about writing strategies in Writers Workshop. Please read through the homework packet with your student this week.
*Back to School Night 7-9pm on Wednesday, September 21, hope to see you all there.

READERS/WRITERS WORKSHOP – EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT!!! This week in Writers Workshop we are working on mini stories. The students are also working on their own Front Page News Papers! They will be on display for you all to enjoy on Wednesday. In Readers Workshop we will be looking at different types of stories; Parts go together to make a book flow; beginning, middle and end.

MATH – This year the 3rd and 4th graders are split up for math. In 4th grade math this week we will continue to work on rounding and place value, multi-step word problems and multiplying factors.

RELIGION – This week we completed our Angelville Community Rules and Jobs. We will begin the Steps to Respect Curriculum as well.
